Hi, I’m Sejzelle! If it’s easier, you can call me Sage.

I am currently freelancing! I bring over a decade of design & creative direction experience to brands and artists alike.
​
My most recent full-time role was Creative Services Director at Open the Books, a fast-growing, nonpartisan nonprofit watchdog that investigates and exposes government waste, fraud, and taxpayer abuse. I started as a graphic designer and quickly took the lead on all things visual and marketing - designing investigative booklets, maintaining the website, managing social media, and driving creative direction. I’m a collaborative team player and results-driven creative. These are qualities you’ll see reflected throughout my portfolio.​
Off-screen, I’m usually painting, making music, singing, reading for book club, or chasing waves at the beach.​ I also take on freelance projects focused on layout design and illustration across digital and print.​
